The National BIDs Advisory Service was headed up by Jacquie Reilly a leading expert in BIDs in the UK. Jacquie was directly involved with Government in the development of the BIDs Regulations and wrote the Good Practice Guide which supports the legislation. She developed the BID Academy concept and works with developing and established BIDs on a daily basis.
Steve Peters - BID4 Bury
"As a town centre partnership moving into the world of BID's we took a massive step into the unknown. This was all new territory. As a member of ATCM, I found the advice and information given by the National BIDs Advisory Service advice line invaluable throughout every step of our BID campaign and beyond.
Some questions you think ‘I should really know this' but the reality is, everything is new when you go for your first BID, and why pay for consultants to answer your questions when you can ask the National BIDs Advisory Service. It is included in your membership and you get a lot more advice than just the answer to the question. They have the understanding and experience of dealing with a wide variety of BIDs large and small. At all times, no matter how dense or difficult I thought some of my questions were, I found Jacquie to be brilliant: knowledgeable, reassuring and helpful throughout. The National BIDs Advisory Service was my number two throughout the BIDs maze."
Aftab Gaffar - Rugby BID
" Within confines of a tight budget It's reassuring to know that being a member of ATCMs National BIDs Advisory Service you can get free advice anytime. I am especially pleased with Jacquie drafting a letter regarding a legislative query from a business which resolved the issue for us and ensured the business was happy with our response. The Exchange Network meetings are a great help, providing us with the opportunity to meet fellow members with the same interests and to share a lot ideas and suggestions which really help in taking your BID forward "
