BID Policy Think Tank

The National BIDs Advisory Service is in regular contact with Ministers and Civil Servants to raise the profile of BIDs and lobby on our members issues and concerns. Our aim is to maximise BID members' ability to influence policy-making. BIDs play a vital role in supporting high street businesses and we work with Government to ensure BIDs can take full advantage of opportunities to give businesses a voice and to address town centre issues.

In addition to our lobbying, provision of secretariat support for the All Party Parliamentary Group for Town Centres and participation in a variety of Government committees we also deliver two BID Policy Think Tanks each year. These events are held at Westminster and BID Managers and BID Board members are given the opportunity to debate key issues with parliamentarians and civil servants.
